Who coordinates PTDOS?
PT Day of Service is a program within our parent organization Move Together, Inc and is run by a team of over 20 worldwide supporters. Move Together is a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization, whose mission is to increase access to quality rehabilitation medicine around the corner and around the world. What do sponsorship contributions support?
Contributions support the programs and operations of our parent organization Move Together, Inc, a 501(c)3 non-profit, including PT Day of Service (PTDOS). Move Together works to ensure operational costs for PTDOS are kept low. From the beginning, PTDOS has been run with a mindset of quality, effectiveness, and sustainability. The efforts of the PTDOS core team are 100% volunteer.
All funds received above PTDOS programmatic costs are directed to the operations, enhancement, and management of Move Together, Inc. and its programs. Core programs include the Clinic Development Program (CDP), Pro Bono Incubator Program (PBI), and Catalyst Club. A diverse set of sustainable global health projects have been supported in the U.S. and Central America. For more information on Move Together’s programs and operations checkout our website, or email us at info@movetogether.org.
What does it mean to be a sponsor?
Our sponsors are organizations (i.e. universities, clinics, corporations, etc) that support PTDOS. Each sponsor fulfills three main requirements:
Promote and participate in PTDOS;
Identify at least one PTDOS ambassador within their organization;
Contribute at one of the sponsorship levels (ranging from $250-$2,000+).
What does being a PTDOS Ambassador entail?
Ambassadors are our grassroots organizers. They are tasked with organizing the service activity within their community/organization. Each ambassador is provided with a toolkit of resources to get up and running and is asked to help promote the day.
How do we sign up to become a sponsor?
All sponsors can sign up and make their contribution on the sponsor sign-up page.
